Calendar for School Year

SUBJECT TO CHANGE, THE FOLLOWING IS THE CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR. Please note: for the Orientation Days, a parent stays with the child at school and receives orientation information from the Teachers. ON THIS DAY ONLY, the class will be split into a morning shift and an afternoon shift, and you will be notified soon of the shift to which you are assigned. Celebrate Bedford Co-Op Nursery School's 50th Year!

This school year marks Bedford Co-Op's 50th Anniversary! If you or your child attended Bedford Co-Op since 1958, you are invited to join the 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 1:00 - 4:00.

Bring photos and memorabilia from your Co-Op days, and invite any classmates you can find. Model your saddle shoes, poodle skirts or biker jackets as you enjoy the Fifties-themed games, music and snacks while you visit with the teachers and other former students and families. RSVP's would be greatly appreciated.

With a rich history of quality teachers and excellent curiculum, Bedford Co-Op Nursery School has provided the first education experience for numerous leaders of the community and their children. Its first classes were held in the Old Baptist Church on Bedford's historic Public Square. With increased enrollment, it moved to South Haven Church. After decades in that home, it relocated to Bedford First United Methodist Church in 1997.

The current teachers, Brenda DeLuca and Georgette Hillenbrand have been the soul of Bedford Co-Op for half of its lifespan. The Co-Op's float in the Bedford/Bedford Heights Independence Day Parades witnesses waves of cheers from families who hold the preschool close to their hearts.
